this story is about a bunch of students in this so-they-named-it islamic university, in islamic studies class.

fate had it that, the non-muslims student attained higher grade than most of the muslims.

one of the muslims said: we prayed hard to our God to help us in this exam. but instead of helping us, He helped the unbelievers.

one of the non-muslim then replied: "verily, Allah will never change the people until they themselves change." yes, you have your prayers, but our effort is twice as yours.

moral of the story: prayers will never help you unless efforts come by side.
