g0t to say
i don't know much about campus politics, not to mention election. this is going to be my first election as a student here. last few days, i read about the (src said) un-transparent of the suruhanjaya pilihanraya (spr). for this coming election, selection-before-election system will be used upon.
the candidates wannabe have to go through preliminary qualifying (macam bola plak) :
1) public speaking test, and
2) an interview conducted by spr
in order to be the candidates for the election.
a report was forwarded to suhakam about these un-transparent and bias (?) conditions. more info at harapan-online .
they (the spr and administration of the university) said, for u to be a leader, u have to know how to speak to the public. is it? if the public speaking test is to be carried out, i strongly urged that the male candidates should go through one more qualifying test : be an imam or give a khutbah for the solat jumaat. and for the female candidates, err, test masak kot.
