it's a public holiday for the state; the birthday of the sultan.

it's so good to be home. only those who have been away for months can tell. the first thing i touched was this very computer. unfortunately, it seemed that i cant't do my 'homework' (eheh) due to the malfunction of the cd driver. have to use it (the cd driver) in order to install the softwares.

recommended by a friend, i downloaded the mozilla firefox internet browser. the process took me FOREVER!! all i need is just a simple BROADBAND, the thing that will not be in my house for the next decade. now i have to go to cc, have lots more stuff to download.

finally....

home, i'm coming! hahaha. it's the end of the semester, and i'm going back home. for sure, there will a lot that i will (and have to) do back home. unlike the others, my vacation will last for only 3 weeks (AAAAAA), compared to 'them'; 3 months. *sigh* nevermind, like i care. i'll finish my first degree earlier.

lots had happened in this semester. i graduated my mandarin class (flying colourly, xiexie laoshi), learned how to use conio.h, ate lots lots of shakshukah and durum and etcetera etc.

the dancing swallows

there are swallows in the masjid!! all this while, i thought there are only 'ciak' birds there.

so, birds in masjid. mmm, good thing, i think. the lizards become their prey, no taik cicak bersepah. do u know that a dead i-always-hate house-lizard smells much more terrible than a dead mouse? go get yourself a lizard, kill it (evil meee, hahaha) and put it inside your drawer. wait for four days and you have the smell. then, try this mean experiment using a mouse, or two (not the mouse in your palm right now), and compare the smell. aaaa, what am i talking about!!

ok, back to the topic, the swallows. these little swallows only (seem to) appear during the maghrib prayer. flying in a very high speed,chirping their unique sound, they evade (elak/lit?) the pillars, dancing in the rythms of the holy verses of the imam. this phenomenon (swallows dancing) will end by (or before) isya' time.

facts:
swallows are the fastest creatures known.
their nests are dearer than gold (depend on quality)
what else ah?

the riang2s and me

perhaps i was destinied to be an enthomologyst. days ago, another riang2 flew into my room, and just like the one before, it died. huhu, there's something fishy about this. its (should i say) corpe also ended up in my jam bottle. now my room is a graveyard for riang2. perhaps someday i'll hold a majlis tahlil for them. all of you will be cordially invited.

me, an insector ,or.....

what is insector, really? for me it is something that has something to do with insects. insect--insector. hmmm.

weeks ago, seekor riang2 (what's riang2 in english, anybody?!) flew into my room, and eventually, it died. i dried it up, and bottled it in an emptied jem bottle along with some silica gel. the bottle now works better as my paperweight. fyi, almost every night i'll have these creepy six-legged creatures visiting my room. you name it: roaches, ants (for sure), kelkatu, albino grasshopper (it was white, dude), et cetera. ok, maybe because i sleep with the windows open, but there's no any sign outside my windows that says " insects' night". whatever... and for they are the preys, the predators will come as follow:
insect= lizard + SHIT! i hate it so much. do you know that killing a lizard gives you reward? perhaps.
when i was a kid, i used to lastik lizards using folded newspaper and straps of rubber and later on, we would be having ' bbq cicak' or ' cicak masak stim'.

and aa, yes. the term for something that has something to do with insect is enthomology. perhaps, i'll be an enthomologying engineer.

after wasting my time choosing the name for this blog, finally it came across my mind; who i am: an 'enjeng' student. good. so i named this blog 'enjeng'. and woohoo, there is no longer any banner on the top of my blog. before, i used blogdrive.com, and the top banner really annoyed me. say that i want to talk something 'bout religious matters (as if i will, eheh) and at the same point, my blog site has that half-nude pic, it is surely darn isn't it? so and so, even yasmin ahmad uses blogspot, right?
