hola!!

1. the saga of artakusiad, and me

10 years ago, i was introduced by a friend to the 'saga artakusiad' : malay fiction serial novels, and the books publication stopped after book 6 was released. that was in 1994 or '95, i reckon.
weeks ago, another friend quoted in our web-forum about these books, and he said the 7th book was released in 2004, and he had bought it. this book surely had brought him a bundle of joy. he slept hugging the book... i guessed right!


2. of my new room and study

i) that day:
dawn: arrived, my brother picked me up to his house.
morning: slept
about noon: he sent me, along with my stuff which i left before going back a month ago to the campus
i checked in, and given a new room.
(accidentally!) i left my key in the room.
after zuhr: nobody was coming to the room. decided to go to the international book fair, pwtc.
'til asr: at the book fair. bought 4 books from the series of 'saga artakusiad' and 1 for my sister.
after asr: stucked in the downpour.
maghrib: reached campus.
after 3isha': alhamdulillah, somebody came to the room. got myself in. he negotiated to exchange our rooms.
new day, early morning: finished stuffing my stuffs into the new room. bismikallahumma ahya wa amuut.........zz z zz

ii) stadi oi!!
new semester had just started, and so our lesson. something i never expected happened in my first calculus class of this semester, the QUIZ! as a so-so student, i didn't care much about tis quiz actually, because i was thinking that may be this 'crazy sudanese' (he addressed himself with that) lecturer wants to know how much we remember our last semester lessons.

well, the two pages 20 questions was very basic, with question 1-4 asking about our basic info: name, matrics number, section and last semester grade.. the real questions started from no. 5. at the least of my expectation, there was one question about our kampong.

when i was in the middle of answering, suddenly, a boy handed up his paper. didn't he answer any question? i looked back to my friend, and he said," read the last question."

20. answer only questions from no. 1 to 4. thank you.

i am a swinger

1. the long awaited cactus flowers bloomed. i went to check them out after fajr. the flowers were white. fyi, cactus flower won't last the day. it will layu menjelang mentari tinggi segalah.

2. my first bowling game of the year, yay!. but, sigh, see how busy i am? today, i went to xxxx superbowl,and found that i lost my 'swing' touch. pity me.

daremo shiranai

1. the result was announced! the server was down for the whole day. fortunately, i got my result one week in advance. hola. daremo shiranai why. shaa-a allahu.

2. if u ever happen to pray in or to go to masjid muhammadi, kota bharu, please, observe in its drains. i myself just realized about this recently. they breed fishes in the drains to rid them of the gokgats. (gokgat=larva nyamok)

3. the paddy is greening (menghijau), the kekut fruits are riping, the tobacco leaves and honey dew are ready to be harvested, the waus are on the air. the musim buah is coming, and there will be alot of durians this year. ask the durian planters about theirs.

4. i am waiting for the cactus buds to bloom. i missed the chance to watch the fully bloomed flowers last year. cactus berbunga once a year, and i'm not going to miss the chance this year. i'm indulging myself in the senses.

5. daremo shiranai means nobody knows.

count and count

1. my holidays are numbered. i'll be in the campus in 2 weeks time. have to register for new room, get my stuffs out from d old room, meet new roommates, have to this, have to that...

2. the spring is about to over. wait. this should be the number one. anyway, the spring is about to over. once a year, the nadir trees (pokok2 kayu) will berbunga, lebatly, and now the flowers of pokok sena have started to gugur; the yellow petals are everywhere, and the pesta flora is going to end. the pesta flora is held anually in my hometown, starting early april.

3. the result will be out soon. i owe sameer the palestinian a glass of nescafe. that day, he said he got 99% in the calculus mid-term exam. i thought he was bluffing. come on! nobody was getting that high! i failed mine. boohoo. then he showed me his examined paper. his CAM for calculus was 53 out of 60. god, i envy him so much, but only for this paper.

4. i wish i had a digital camera. i wish, i wish....chow!
